Community

At PRM Group we are committed to our corporate social responsibility strategy and we recognise our ability to have a positive impact on our local community.

Our Aim:

Support home-grown charities and raise awareness of their causes.

Empower and inspire future business leaders through education and employability.

Be a positive contributor to the health and wellbeing of local people.

Charity

Each year, PRM Group selects a local charity to support for a 12 month period. Our 2017 charity partnership was with Cancer Fun For Children.

Throughout the year we host and attend a variety of internal and external fundraising events. For example, in 2017, our dedicated members of staff trekked mountains, ran races, and threw themselves into bogs to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Fund for Children.

We are delighted to have raised in excess of £10k for Cancer Fund for Children and aim to do the same for our 2018 charity partner, Angel Wishes.

Education

We are passionate about our roots and recognise that local businesses throughout Ireland need to play a role in shaping our young future business leaders. At PRM Group we have developed strong links with local schools and businesses, offering work experience for students from 16+ from across Lisburn & further afield.

In addition to this, PRM Group partners with Ulster University as a Placement Employer. We work with Ulster University to give students an insight into our industry and the experience they need to build successful careers upon completion of their studies.

PRM Group has developed a strong partnership with the Young Enterprise, a not-for-profit business and enterprise education charity. This partnership has allowed employees to volunteer on a weekly basis with local students, giving them an insight into business and advising them on their future career path.

Health & Wellbeing

At PRM Group we understand the importance of employee health and wellbeing. We offer staff the opportunity to partake in a variety of initiatives, including walking club, free fruit Friday and bespoke nutritional advice sessions from a professional nutritionist.

Additionally, we offer all employees access to our fully serviced canteen, which serves a variety of healthy meals daily. Our drivers receive free healthy snack options, refreshed daily, providing them with a healthy substitute to the usual food offered at Service Stations.

With regards to keeping active, 5-a-side football, 10km races, hikes and cycles are organised to ensure we have a suitable activity for staff of all strengths and abilities.
